developing in Magnolia is great because
it's open source you can extend and to
figure whatever you need to inside mango
and any knowledge that you have for any
other system comes into play so you can
hit the ground running really quickly
the developers now can take the time to
develop back in calls to REST API to
anything they need to do to present the
actual content or add features to
Magnolia that aren't provided out of a
box we've done any sort of customization
from sending a simple email from the
system to rendering different different
things on the website in specific ways
just for healthiest to use them
integrating with Magnolia is great it's
fairly easy compared to other systems
for example we're working on future
integrations with marketing automation
to sort of coincide with the
personalization module inside
we use act on in conjunction with
magnolia and actually we use google
analytics also so between the two act on
then connects with Salesforce so the
lead generation pieces we can get forms
up on the site within minutes we know
for sure that lead generation and sales
are up people that are working on any
sort of change need to be made they can
make them instantly and the time to them
going live is minutes rather than weeks
the real advantage has been in
empowering our marketing employees to
actually make the changes so now rather
than having 10 developers implementing
changes to our website we can now have
the full 20 plus marketing group
implementing changes to the website and
that's huge you're really accomplishing
things faster eg
yeah it's really easy to use you can go
and you can make some edits it's really
simple so even when we have you know a
new person come on board they're able to
get up to speed really quickly I love
that you can access it from anywhere so
if I need to quick check on something
from home I can just pull up the website
log in and do what I need to work what I
need to and I don't have to be like
logged into my work computer and
Magnolia has been really helpful for us
in that we can collaborate as a group
really well so I can go in I can come up
with our here's kind of how I want the
web pages to look how they work together
the content that I want and I can hand
it off to my team and then they can go
in individually those pages make some
adjustments I can go and make
adjustments so from a collaboration
standpoint Magnolia has been excellent
with helping us to work together to come
up with a website design that meets our
needs
